Join us for our monthly workshop at the Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships. This month we will celebrate 10 years of the Dornsife Center (and Writers Room!) with a workshop facilitated by Teaching Artist Lauren Lowe.
We’ll look back and reflect on the transformations of the last decade, noting the changes we’ve witnessed in ourselves, our neighbors, and our communities. By looking to the past, we’ll see what that tells us about where we’re going—together.

In this 2-day workshop, participants may attend a live performance by The Soul Rebels at World Cafe Live on Thursday evening then follow up the next day with a sensory-based workshop that asks questions and delves into issues brought to the surface by their experiences listening to this New Orleans-based brass band.
