Join UnMapping Instructors Stephanie Dorenbosch and Karen Harvey as their course Tenants Rights and Organizing, culminates with a public event on the way personal narratives and storytelling can catalyze policy change. Moderated by UnMapping Co-Instructor Karen Harvey, we’ll hear from Holly Beck, Divisional Supervising Attorney at Community Legal Services of Philadelphia, Cade Underwood, Director of Legislation and Policy for Councilmember Nic O’Rourke, and Joy Ahn, Nurse Advocacy Manager, of the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium. We’ll learn how personal stories have made policy changes possible in our community, like through the Eviction Record Sealing Committee.
