Join Writers Room and Sankofa Healing Studio to pack art-therapy kits for women incarcerated in the Philadelphia County jail. With your help, all 400+ incarcerated women in the facility will receive supplies that Sankofa Healing Studio’s founding director, Jacqui Johnson, will use to lead art therapy sessions with the women. Writers Room’s teaching artist, Gabriele Preston, will lead a writing exercise after the kits are packed, to reflect on the power of love and relationships to be a force for social justice.
