INSTRUCTOR
Dr. Tariem Burroughs has worked at the intersection of health, education, and community relations for much of his career in the public health sector. His drive is to make programs sustainable yet innovative, fresh, and accessible in order to provide communities with the resources that they need to thrive. Dr. Burroughs is a native Philadelphian who currently serves as the Executive Director of External Partnerships in the Drexel’s School of Public Health. Dr. Burroughs completed his PhD in Sociology at Temple University and has earned masters degrees in Sociology from Temple, in Organizational Development and Leadership from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania. Burrough has a Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Scranton and holds certifications in Geographic Information Systems and Teaching in Higher Education from Temple University.
