Andrew Zitcer is an Associate Professor in the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, where he teaches in Arts Administration and directs the Urban Strategy graduate program. His research explores cultural and economic democracy, and has appeared in Journal Planning Education & Research, Planning Theory & Practice, Antipode and more. His book, Practicing Cooperation: Mutual Aid Beyond Capitalism was published by the University of Minnesota Press in 2021. A forthcoming edited volume, Democracy as Creative Practice: Weaving a Culture of Civic Life, will be published by Routledge in 2024.
Susanna
Gilbertson

Susanna Gilbertson is a graduate of St. Joe’s Coaching Leader Program, and an International Coaching Federation and From Grief to Gratitude certified coach. With 20 years of experience as a social worker, her work includes topics in the intimate partner violence field, crisis intervention, school social work, and youth work. She was a Founding Partner of The Blue Door Group, a consulting group based in Philadelphia which provided training and coaching on facilitation skills and trauma-informed practices. She teaches social work at the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania, the Community College of Philadelphia, Widener University, and Rutgers University, as well as teaching Civic Engagement and Participatory Methods with UnMapping Co-Instructor Andrew Zitcer at Drexel University.
